Refund policy

Applicability

DataRelay Consulting Co., Ltd. provides paid programming consulting (data pipeline and ETL work). This policy applies to fees invoiced for those services.

Before work starts

If you cancel a signed engagement at least 7 calendar days before the agreed start date and we have not begun billable work, we refund any prepaid amount minus reasonable third-party costs already incurred (e.g., prepaid cloud resources explicitly ordered for your project).

After work has started

Fees for work already performed are non-refundable. For fixed-scope phases not yet started, we may credit or refund the unused portion at our discretion, documented in writing.

Deliverables and acceptance

If deliverables materially fail agreed written specifications and we cannot remedy within a reasonable cure period, you may be entitled to a partial refund for the affected phase. Subjective dissatisfaction without specification breach is not grounds for a refund.

Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.

No-shows and rescheduling

Missed workshops or pair-programming sessions without 24-hour notice may be billed. Rescheduling is free with reasonable notice.

Deposits

Deposits stated in your statement of work are applied to the final invoice; forfeiture applies only as described in that document.
